3D paper Christmas wreath with candles – printable Christmas paper craft for kids

Christmas Paper Crafts for Kids – 20 Printable Ideas for Advent

Advent is the busiest crafting season of the year in my house – and in many classrooms too. Here are my favourite printable Christmas paper crafts for kids about 4–9 years old, sorted so you can find the right one quickly: decorations, cards, cosy winter pictures and calm crafts for the nativity story. Every template is hand-drawn by me and comes as a PDF with step-by-step instructions.

The Christmas favourites

These are the crafts families and teachers come back for every year:

  • 3D Christmas wreath – paper candles and a big red bow. My best-selling Christmas craft.
  • Santa's beard – kids curl the paper strips of the beard themselves.
  • 3D Santa picture – a folded paper beard that pops out of the picture.
  • Rudolph – the reindeer with Christmas lights tangled in his antlers.

Cosy winter crafts for after Christmas

Snowmen and winter birds work all the way to February: try the rocking snowman, winter birds or the hibernation craft. You'll find them all in my winter crafts.

A simple Advent plan

  • Week 1: an Advent wreath to start the countdown.
  • Week 2: decorations for the tree and the door.
  • Week 3: handmade cards for family.
  • Week 4: angels and the nativity scene.

If you craft often, my Unlimited Crafting Membership gives you every template on my site plus new designs every week. Everything Christmas is in one place in my Christmas crafts for kids collection.

Happy crafting,
Reny
